Warranty Policy

Battery Warranty

​1yr from date of sale against manufacturing defects.

The following are not covered by warranty:

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling.

• Damage resulting from unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations.

• Normal wear and tear, including capacity degradation over time.

• Damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, or corrosive environments.

• Use of the battery pack with incompatible devices or chargers.

• Damage caused by accidents, drops, or impacts.

• Damage cause by unauthorized modification of BMS parameters.

• Damage cause by over-power using, over-voltage or over-current charging.

Motor + Controller Kit Warranty

Motors, controller, an acessories sold as kits come with 90 day warranty agianst manufacturer defects.  The following are not covered by warranty:

• Fardriver parameter changes beyond HOT PAXX kit instructions

• Fardriver reset

• Motor sprocket stud damage

• Stripped motor mounting threads

Fardriver Controller Warranty

​​Fardriver controllers are tested by the factory before shipping and can be damaged by incorrect installation or programming and therefore are not covered by warranty.

 

If you are not experienced in programming we suggest purchasing a pre-programmed kit.

Motor Warranty

​Motors come with 90 dwarranty against major defects.  The following are not covered by warranty:

• Overheat damage

• Motor sprocket stud damage

• Stripped motor mounting threads

• Stripped drive using sprockets from other suppliers

• Water ingestion.  Splash water only.
